New Years at Newley's

There is a very rustic cabin waaaaaaaayyy up in the mountains of the rugged Montana wilderness that doesn't see too many faces. But it was rudely awakened by four this weekend where Josh & I and some good friends celebrated & welcomed in the year 2012. We snowmobiled several miles up some very wintery terrain with lots of snow drifts & sketchy obstacles, up to Newley's cabin where we enjoyed some delicious cabin style food, fireworks, incredible views and just some good old fashioned fun.

Fresh Elk steaks, sauteed mushrooms & broccoli for din. Cooked on a super old, antique cook stove. So neat.

Firework time. It was sooo windy that Josh had to hold the launcher in his hand!! :/ Eek.
